Book launch

My book, Jordas skjulte toner. Musikk og instrumenter fra steinalder til vikingtid (“The Earth’s Hidden Tones. Music and Instruments from the Stone Age to the Viking Age”) is now in print. It arrives directly to the launch, Thursday 13 November at 19.00 at the Museum of Cultural History in Oslo. Stefan Hagel from Vienna will also come. He works at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and specializes in ancient Greek music and metre. For the event, he will bring his own reconstruction of the reed instrument aulos.

The book can be ordered from the publisher Ford Forlag (www.ford.forlag.no) or from Internet bookstores (google “Jordas skjulte toner”). It can also be ordered directly from me, if you send an email or phone me (see contact information in the top menu).
